The challenge

For a healthcare network of IHH’s scale, the corporate film is one of the hardest briefs to get right. The audience is broad (patients, doctors, investors, staff and partners) and the story has to work for all of them at once.

Most healthcare corporate films lean on what is easy to show: specialists, equipment, hospitals, accreditations. The result feels complete but is easy to forget. IHH wanted a film that showed the real strength of the network (18 hospitals, 15,000 staff, decades of practice) and still connected emotionally.

The question wasn’t what to show. It was how to make a network feel like a person.

The strategy

Care across time

A healthcare network is defined by the moments it shows up for a family, across years and across generations. The newborn delivered at one IHH hospital. The parent treated decades later at another. The grandparent looked after by the same network their grandchildren now turn to.

We made that the heart of the film: how IHH’s network shows up across a family’s lifetime, told through real moments that move from one generation to the next. The breadth of the network becomes visible through the people it serves, not a list of facilities.

How we made it

  • Concept and scriptA multi-generational story grounded in specific moments, not montage
  • Direction and cinematographyReal moments, considered pacing, no clinical clichés
  • CastingMulticultural and multi-generational, reflecting the Malaysians IHH serves
  • Music and post-productionEmotional but restrained, supporting the story rather than steering it

The outcome

Scale, made personal

The film launched as IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s anchor corporate film, across digital, social, internal channels and stakeholder presentations.

In a category that usually defaults to facility tours, it gave IHH a corporate film people wanted to watch to the end. The network’s scale came across through the people it serves, and the brand’s promise, Care. For Good., felt earned.
