The challenge

Sustainability messages are some of the hardest brand work to get right. People have heard every version of the recycling story, and most of it reads as a lecture or as marketing.

Acilis by Spritzer, the premium silica-rich mineral water in the Spritzer range, had a real story: a new bottle made with eco-friendly materials and fully recyclable. The brief was to tell it in a way that felt as considered as the brand, and warm enough that people would watch to the end.

The message mattered. The challenge was making sure people wanted to hear it.

The strategy

Why animation

Live action would have pushed the work into a documentary about recycling or a lifestyle film with a message on top. Both would have felt familiar.

Animation let the bottle, its materials and its life cycle live in a designed world, with room for wit, character and visual delight. The film walks the viewer from materials to use to renewal, while staying recognisably Acilis throughout.

How we made it

  • ConceptA story that earns the message without lecturing
  • Visual development and illustrationCharacters and settings tuned to Acilis’s premium wellness look
  • Animation directionPacing and motion that keep it light and watchable
  • Sound design and musicSupporting the visuals rather than overpowering them
  • Post-productionColour, edit and finishing in the brand’s considered tone

The outcome

Part of the brand, not a lecture

The film launched as the anchor of Acilis by Spritzer’s sustainability communication, across digital, social and brand touchpoints for the new bottle.

It made the recycling story feel like part of the brand rather than a corporate message added on, through a piece people could enjoy watching and share.
