The challenge

Collaborations with globally licensed IP are their own kind of creative work. Every character, colour, motion and tone of voice has to pass global licensing approval before anything ships.

The partnership launched a new kids product for Spritzer, and the film had to work in three places: cinema, where standards are highest; social media, where the idea has to land in seconds, often without sound; and promotional campaigns that extend the visuals into other formats.

Pokémon is one of the most carefully protected brand assets in the world.

The strategy

What each brand brings

Pokémon brings imagination: a world children already love. Spritzer brings water, the everyday product that keeps kids going while they explore. The fit was real, between play and the thing that keeps play going.

That became a 30-second story set in a kid’s world where Pokémon and Spritzer naturally belong together, as part of the same playful, energetic moment.

Cinema cut

The full 30-second story, mastered to cinema standards.

Social cuts

Shorter versions for sound-off viewing, vertical formats and each platform.

Campaign assets

Stills, key visuals and supporting content for promotions.
