The challenge

Medical expos are crowded. Every hospital, clinic and healthcare provider is competing for the same attention, and most of them turn up with the same tools. A pull-up banner. A counter. A few brochures. For an Indonesian audience walking the floor, the experience blurs quickly.

IHH had real strength to communicate: the breadth of specialties across 18 hospitals, the depth of international patient services, and the support that defines the cross-border experience. None of that gets across through a banner and a brochure.

The brief: design an experience that does the work of an entire marketing campaign in three days of expo footfall.

The strategy

Experience first, deliverables second

We approached the expo the way we’d approach any brand engagement, with one creative direction carried across every part of the experience.

Theme and creative direction

One idea from the moment a visitor saw the booth across the floor to the moment they left. The theme had to show what IHH offers an Indonesian patient: not just clinical excellence, but a sense of being looked after across the whole journey. We turned that into a visual and spatial language that felt warm, considered and confidently premium.

Opening gimmick

A launch moment at the door, built to pull visitors in. (Details to confirm)

Booth design

The space itself, designed to draw people in and explain IHH’s strengths quickly. (Details to confirm)

The outcome

Visitors didn’t walk past. They walked in.

The booth gave IHH Healthcare Malaysia a presence that worked harder than any banner or brochure could. The opening gimmick did its job at the door, and the experience inside showed IHH’s strengths in a way the audience could feel, not just read.

It gave Indonesian patients and their families a real, three-dimensional encounter with what IHH stands for, long before they walk into a hospital. That kind of encounter builds trust the moment it lands.
